Luc Bauwmans

Mr. Bauwmans is a senior executive with more than 25 years’ experience in the projects industry, having worked on capital projects in architecture, urban design, engineering and HR disciplines. With his architectural background, his involvement in projects was often from concept to handover. He notably managed a large number of NEC contracts (New Engineering Contract) in power generation environments.

In conjunction with the above, Mr. Bauwmans has also been a lecturer at various academic institutions in South Africa, lecturing topics such as architectural theory, history and design, construction methodology, acoustics and interior design.

Since obtaining his PMP credential in 1998, Mr. Bauwmans has further engaged in training of various Project Management disciplines to clients in mining, petrochemical, construction, engineering, transport, IT, communications and heavy manufacturing sectors, in Africa, Middle East and the United Kingdom.

Mr. Bauwmans was a constituent assessor in PM for the South African Services Sector Education and Training Authority (SSETA) (2004-2010), and was part of a Subject Matter Expert (SME) panel for the South African PM Standards Generating Body (PMSGB). He was appointed Adjunct Professor at Skema Business School, Lille, France for 2010-2012, and became a PRINCE2 Approved Trainer in 2012.
